FullTake Productions ("we", "us", "our") operates fulltakeproductions.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

We are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and work with clients worldwide.

1. The short version

We collect what we need to answer your enquiry and do your editing work, nothing more. We do not sell your data. Our website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising pixels. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

2. What we collect

When you contact us. Your name, email address, company name, and whatever you tell us about your project through our contact form or by email.

When you become a client. The footage and brand assets you send us, plus billing details. We do not see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor.

When you visit the site. Standard server and security logs, including IP address, handled by our hosting provider. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and our site does not set cookies of its own.

3. Why we use it

To reply to you, to produce and deliver your videos, to take payment, and to keep records we are required to keep. If you have opted in, we may also send occasional production tips. You can unsubscribe from those at any time and it will not affect your service.

We do not use your information for automated decision making or profiling.

4. Who else is involved

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your information passes through them only for that purpose. They are bound by their own privacy obligations.

These currently include Formspree, which receives contact form submissions, Calendly, if you book a call with us, Stripe, which handles billing on our monthly plans, Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, and Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads its fonts. Email to our address is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to our inbox.

For client footage we use Google Drive to hold project files, and WeTransfer where a client prefers to send files that way. WeTransfer links expire on their own after a short period. Which we use depends on what suits you, and you can tell us if you would rather we used one over the other.

Some of these providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, so your information may be processed in those countries.

5. Footage that contains other people

Footage you send us often contains people other than you, such as staff, customers or clients. We process that footage only to produce your videos, we do not use it for anything else, and we do not share it outside our team.

Getting the necessary permission from anyone appearing in your footage is your responsibility, as set out in our Terms of Service. This matters particularly if you work in a regulated field such as health, medical or aesthetic services, where consent requirements are stricter.

6. How long we keep things

Client project files are kept for the length of your subscription and for 30 days after it ends, then deleted.

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as Canadian law requires.

You can ask us to delete anything sooner, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your information, send you a copy, or stop sending you marketing.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including under Canadian privacy legislation and, for clients in the European Union or United Kingdom, the GDPR. Nothing here limits those rights.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls on client files and limiting who on our team can see them. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects current clients, tell you by email.

11. Contact

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy, email [email protected]
